This statue serves double duty in the Broadway production of La Cage aux Folles. First, it is a sensuous tribute to male anatomy with a light switch to end all light switches. Second, it transforms into a crucifix bearing monk. Sculpted in styrofoam and plaster, cast in resin. The robe is fabric. This entire project including electric torch and switch effect were made at Costume Armour.
