These suits were custom designed and built for the Broadway production of Shrek. Costume Armour worked closely with both Parsons-Meares costumes and Eric Winterling costumes to create armour rigid costume pieces and flexible latex hair for the new Dreamworks Theatrical musical. Out artists sculpted these custom pieces in plaster and clay. They were then cast in latex or vacuum formed in Kydex and given a mylar, metallic or automotive enamel finish, all in our Cornwall NY studio.
